Why We Went:
We had bought a Groupon voucher to get a sharing banquet for 2.
This little restaurant is tucked away out of sight and full of old books, memorabilia and a wall full of interesting graffiti. Definitely worth a visit just for the ambience.
Amazing! The sharing plates were so filling. We had olives, scallops, calamari, trio of bread and dips and pork belly. All were cooked perfectly and the highlight would have to be the scallops. Being fussy about our seafood, we could not fault the scallops.
The restaurant is tucked away in an upstairs alleyway which makes it even better, as the through traffic is limited and makes the restaurant more quiet.
Incredible! Corey was our attentive waiter and was friendly, helpful and happy to recommend the best wine and beer for us. Our chef’s, Aiden and Anthony came out to constantly make sure we were happy with the food and explained all the dishes in detail. We felt every dish was perfectly catered for.
Thank you to Andrea for looking after us with the great service and drinks as well as a big thank you to Corey, Aidan and Anthony for making our night special.
